Dogs fighting to survive, locked in crates without food or water in Jupiter Farms
Late yesterday afternoon, (Friday) after being refused treatment at another clinic (it was Friday after all and there was no money in it, only hours and hours of worry and care). Dr Zuercher accepted to treat these emergency patients.
This is typically in character for Dr Zuercher and is entirely consistent with our clinic’s mission to save the lives of animals where we can- both our client’s beloved furry family members and animals abandoned to a sad fate- while seeking to reunite lost pets with their owners, and to protect people and pets in our local community.
Unfortunately the dog the reporter mentions in the clip did not make it. The others however continue to improve in tiny increments.
Every day is a victory.
This tragic abuse was apparently the result of mental health issue and the woman moved to Orlando, simply leaving them behind in cages to starve.
Fortunately, through a series of good samaritans, leading up the fiercely dedicated folks Save A Pet and to Dr Zuercher and the All Animal Care Clinic, these dogs have survived this far and will soon be fostered
Id like to give full credit to the Save A Pet people- and also give credit where it is due : to Dr Zuercher and the All Animal Care Clinic.
